Camcare is a not-for-profit, community based organisation that has operated in Boroondara for over thirty years.
In 2007, Camcare provided services to 5500 households - more than 9% of households in Boroondara and some surrounding localities. People come to us with complex needs.

Our Mission
To support children, young people, adults and families through the challenges in their lives and empower them to deal with these challenges. We do this by helping our clients to develop skills and build resilience.

 

Camcare is undertaking a research project looking at Family Violence in the Boroondara, Ashburton, Ashwood and Chadstone areas.
In particular we are interested in:

• Exploring peoples' experiences of seeking help.
• Identifying things missing in current services.
• Making recommendations of action.
